OASIIS is governed by a democratic structure ensuring independence, transparency and regional representation.
General Assembly
Supreme decision-making body. All Full and Institutional Members hold voting rights. Meets annually and by extraordinary session when required.
Steering Committee
Six elected members govern day-to-day operations and strategy. Committee members serve two-year terms and may be re-elected once.
Secretariat
Professional staff managing operations, programmes and communications from regional hubs in Singapore, Auckland and New Delhi.
Editorial Board
Independent board overseeing research publications, the Information Integrity Index, and standards compliance across member organisations.
Ethics Panel
Three-person independent panel adjudicating complaints against member organisations and ensuring standards compliance.
Audit Committee
Reviews financial statements, internal controls and risk management. Reports directly to the General Assembly annually.
